Abstract:
This research tackled the aggression among university students at Khartoum State and its relationship with some variables. The researcher used the descriptive method. The population comprised the registered baccalaureate students for the year (2004-2005). The sample consisted of (258) students selected by using stratified random sampling method. The research tools comprised primary information form and the aggression scale designed by Hope, Foulds and Caine (1967) which translate by Mohammed Abdelzahir (1984). The collected data were analyzed statistically by the following tests: Alpha chronbac formula to obtain reliability, Berson's correlation coefficient, T-test for two independent samples, T-test for one sample and Spearman – Brown's correlation coefficient. The research arrived at the following results: 1-There was significant statistical low scores on aggression among university students at Khartoum State. 2-There was significant statistical difference on aggression among university students at Khartoum State favored females. 3-There was significant statistical difference on aggression among university students at Khartoum State favored villager. 4- There was no significant statistical difference on aggression among university students at Khartoum State between science students and arts students 5-There was no significant relationship between aggression among university students at Khartoum State and class standard. 6-There was no significant relationship between aggression among university students at Khartoum State and father educational standard. 7-There was negative significant relationship between aggression among university students at Khartoum State and mother educational standard.
