Research problem: Sexual perversion is considered one of the negative social phenomena in the
developing as well as the developed countries. The issue that imposes itself nowadays is the
relationship between homosexuality at an old age and the different forms of children sexual
abusement, harassment or rape. Sexual perversion at an old age is considered one the adverse
effects of being exposed to sexual abuse in childhood. This forms the thesis of our study.
Study Population (sample): Study Population is the homosexuals and Pedophilias in Riyadh Community,
and its sample: the men sentenced to jail or sent to rehabilitation centers because of having
been involved in sexual affairs with other men (homosexuals), or the different forms of sexual
abusement (Pedophilias). We are also going to benefit from documents dating between October
2009 and March 2010 taking form the penal courts in Riyadh .
Study Methodology: The searcher used the descriptive, descriptive analytical, and quantitative and
qualitative approach in addition to analyzing the content approach. Two alterable questionnaires
including all the related variables have been prepared.
Main Results:
1. Most active gays fit in the 16-20 age category, whereas passive gays fit in the 26-30 age category.
2.Most active gays are Saudis, while passive gays are Philippinians.
3.Being exposed to pervert sexual excitement in early childhood results in active gays, whereas
verbal or physical abusement results in passive gays.
4.The main causes of this phenomenon are porn websites and T.V. channels besides the influence
of the peer group.
Main Recommendations:
1.Raise the ceiling on punishment for moral crimes and rationing it till we achieve general
deterrence.
2.Financing private and public institutions providing financial support for men interested in
marriage.
3. Educate children in primary grades, through the educational curricula, the best way to protect
themselves from sexual abuse and sexual harassmen
