dc.description.abstract This study tries to know the correlation coefficient between methods of coping with psychological pressure among HIV Carrier with some variables i.e educational level and duration of the disease. Bibliographic sheet and Methods of coping with Psychological Stress Scale were applied by the researcher to collect the data of the study. Data manipulated by using statistical package for social sciences (SPSS) by applying (T) test and Pearson Correlation Coefficient and One Way Analysis of Variance (ANOVA). The most important results of the present study can be summarized in the following points: The methods of coping with stress among HIV Carrier are statistically above average on the following dimensions (Positive Thinking, Social and Psychological Support, and Transferring to religion). There is no significant differences in coping with stress among HIV Carrier according to gender (Male, female). There is no significant difference in coping with stress among HIV Carrier according to educational level. There is no significant difference in coping with stress among HIV Carrier according to level of age level. There is no significant difference in coping with stress among HIV Carrier according to social status. There is no significant difference in coping with stress among HIV Carrier according to jobs; however, there is a significant difference in positive thinking dimension according to the HIV Carrier job. There is no significant difference in coping with stress among HIV Carrier according duration of the infection; however, there is a significant difference in psychological and social support, and information seeking dimensions in favor of patient whose disease duration is more than (10) and (5) years. Finally, recommendations and suggestions for further studies, and references were cited at the end of the study en_US
